I've modeled R2D2 and C3PO in XSI. I've done a lot of research and I worked on the best references that I was able to gather, including drawings and pics to build actual real size replicas. The modeling process didn't take a lot of time. About 3 days for R2D2 and 6-7 for C3PO.

UNREAL TOURNAMENT 3 - DM-URDARAT DeathMatch Map

A Necris underground bio-lab where they carried on experiments with clones and creature mutations. Up on the surface, they built a labyrinth to test the intelligence of their 'products'. The lab has been abandoned a few months ago. The central elevator has crashed down. Over the last months a lot of dirt, leaves and garbage fell from the surface; the lab has been  flooded with a strange glowy blue liquid, toxic and probably radioactive...

Developed in the Unreal Engine 3 Editor (stock assets) for the 3DBuzz.com's Old School Unreal Contest 2008.

I tried to make something original. The map is on 3 levels; a complex maze that you have to learn to get advantage on your foes, an underground lab to discover and an external field that you can reach as final goal and where you can find a bunch of vehicles that you can use to wreak havoc on the poor rats (until someone else brings you down :P ). The architecture is minimalistic but follows a precise plan. It's better played with many players or just add enough bots (they know the maze so beware!) I really hope you enjoy it.
